East Side Bakery in Berlin

Just went in for something sweet, and got a White chocolate & Raspberry cookie. Life-changing! And service was super friendly too. 10/10 would recommend, even just for a cookie

One of the best bakers in Berlin City A must for every tourist At the same time very centrally located, only 5 minutes walk to the East side Gallery. The café top quality 👀

Outside, advertising is carried out with card payment, inside this is only possible from € 5. Particularly disappointing in Corona times. Now you have to touch cash unnecessarily, even though there is a card device. Despite the regulation, I did not receive a payment receipt. Disappointing.

I had breakfast here, good brioches and cappuccino. Convenient location for a visit to the East Side Gallery.

Less than average. Nut corners have a layer of 2mm chopped nuts, the rest is plain dry biscuit. Cake dried out and still 2.40 euros. Edible, but nothing more.

Nice cafe for a snack, there are various sandwiches and pastries. But I did not like the coffee (I took a cappuccino, but it is bitter, and 4 stars for this.

Friendly staff, good prices, ok food and drinks. I'd come back here for getting a tea or coffee at a decent price. I tried a chickpea salad, it was nice, tasted healthy and fresh, nothing special.

Funny, how 4 employees needed 7 minutes for a latte macchiato. The same was good and nice and big.

So much cheaper than our hotel and the eggs and ham were delicious. Came with 2 bread rolls as well which I saved for lunch! Great value.

Very very very nice staff. The bakery was very clean. They have an English speaker. The chocolate milk was the best I ever had.

Factory baked good for high prices

It's a bit expensive for what it is. The coffee was nice but nothing special for 3 euros. Cafe was clean and the staff really polite. Right across from the train station and opened on a Sunday so handy for commuters or a quick snack/drink. Bigger than most local bakeries to sit in. Wifi didn't work. View over the road to the tram stop and u bahn station.

Worst shed of all! Prices overpriced, nothing baked and lousy service! In addition, a pregnant lady is also denied the toilet if she does not pay 50 cents! This is called failure to help! Dirty shop can only be said!

horrible experience. worst of all, men came in and started doing very loud construction work (sawing wood) two tables over, so we could not hear and there was dust in the air. the cafe staff did not even care and gave us blank looks when we said that was unacceptable when we left. that aside, the wifi did not work, coffee was bad, the cream in the cake tasted off and my friends ice tea was just fruit in warm water (see photo) - no tea.

Welcoming and helpful staff, especially as we don't speak a word of German! Huge slices of cake, so make sure you put off the dieting until the next day 😀

Cafeteria open from quite early. We were a couple of friends for breakfast since it was close to our hotel but we did not return. The girls who worked there were very sharp and laughed at our accents on several occasions. Nor did he have anything to emphasize that he did not have another café in the city, nor his coffee, nor his sweets, nor his sandwiches. The only good thing, to have a subway station in front of you.
